Fun With Field Spaniels
Held at: Western Waukesha County Dog Training Club, Inc., W1314 Cedar Drive, Ixonia, WI 53036


DAY 1: Saturday April 4, 2020
8:00 am Coffee and pastry/fresh fruit available



8:30 am Introduction to Scent Work
• Overview of AKC program
• Demonstration
• Hands on introductory nose work games.


9:45 am Stretch Break
10:00 am Intro to Trick Dog
Overview

Training simple tricks – start training!
CGC & Trick Dog Testing


Noon Lunch Break and FRFSC General Meeting.

Lunch available for nominal fee.

Set up for course #1 for ACT 1.


1:00 pm Start ACT 1 Event. See ACT event premium.

Judge: Katrina Guse
• Due to space requirements, crate space will be limited during the ACT testing.
 Entry form and fee required. See ACT event premium.



Dogs must complete two ACT 1 courses in order to apply for the AKC ACT 1 title. Only dogs without an AKC agility title may apply for an ACT title although titled dogs are certainly welcome to complete a run for fun.
• Dogs will able to run two ACT 1 courses in the afternoon.

1:00 pm Introduction to Fast CAT – held outdoors in completely fenced field. This will be held concurrently with the ACT 1 event. You may be able to participate in both. No fee for Field Spaniels; other breeds will be allowed as space allows for a nominal $5 registration.
A release of liability form is required and may be completed prior to participation.
• Can your Field Spaniel run and chase the lure?
• Introduction to the lure and practice. This course will not be regulation length but will allow you and your Field Spaniel the opportunity to “try it.”



DAY 2: Sunday April 5, 2020
8:00 am Coffee and pastry/fresh fruit available
8:30 am Introduction to Tracking

(this is outdoors, so dress appropriately).
• Overview of AKC program
• Demonstration
• Hands on Introduction.

10:30 am Stretch Break
11:00 am Start ACT 2 Event. See ACT event premium.
